We had a fantastic second day of school. It was a good day to review all the rules and routines that we learned yesterday and we did a few assessments to see where the students are academically.
I am still waiting on a few photo permission forms before I post pictures of the students. I am hoping to receive them all by Monday.
I also sent home an email with the student handbook attached, please read and print the last page. Please sign it and have your child sign it and I will keep it here at the school for our records. This is due to me by Monday. Thank you!
Just a reminder tomorrow is SPIRIT DAY! Please send your child to school wearing their house colour. TSP KIP ZBP
Another reminder, September lunch forms are due TOMORROW!
Today we began our day with a journal. Students copied from the board. "My name is ...." and they were to fill in their name. ALL students did a fantastic job! I am impressed already!
After journal we had our calendar routine. Hunter was our Special Helper today. :)
We read a story called "We Share Everything." We understand that in Kindergarten it is important to share. The students really seemed to enjoy the story today.
After our first lunch, students headed to french with Mlle. Hou. Please check her blog for more information on their time with her.
When we returned from french we complete a math assessment. Students counted to 10 and backwards to 1 and then did some matching identifying the correct number with the objects. We ran out of time before lunch to complete this activity. We will continue tomorrow.
After second break, students had gym with Ms. Lovan. When we returned we packed up to go home and did some end of day exercises.
