Happy Friday! 

Take a look at our day. 

Calendar: Today the calendar routine was led by Honor.  
Phonics: Today the students continued to work on Jolly Phonics. We review the sound, action and song for the letter "Hh" and "Rr"!  Today we had show and share. Thank you to the students who brought something in. 

Journal:  During journal today, the students wrote about what they were going to be for Halloween. 

Math: Today we reviewed patterns. We talked about the different types of patterns and completed some together. Today we learned about sound patterns. We clapped some sound patterns out together. 

Lunch/ Recess 1

Unit of Inquiry:Today the students reviewed the 5 senses. We used our five senses to talk about apples. We created a chart of how apples, smell, taste, feel, and what they look like. We also created a rip art apple.

Reminders:

-       Students are to come to school on Monday and Wednesday in their gym uniform. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, students are to come to school in their full school uniform.

-       Please make sure your child has a pair of black dress shoes and a pair of gym shoes labeled and to be left at the school for their indoor shoes this year.

-       Please initial agendas on the right side of the book daily to indicate you have read the agenda slip on the left hand side. Any new information that pops up throughout the week will be written on the right side of the agenda.
