Day 35

Good afternoon!

Despite the cold weather, we had such a great time at Chudleigh's Farm! The students went on a hay ride to the pumpkin patch and learned about the process of how the pumpkin grows. We learned how every pumpkin is different and unique, just like them! They loved touching outside and insides of a pumpkin.  At the farm, there were also so many different animals that the students enjoyed seeing, like the deer, goats, pigs, peacocks and alpacas. The students really loved the hay maze, where they were run around and jump from hay stack to hay stack! After, the students had the opportunity to pick  four apples for our class and one for their tummies. It was such a great experience for the children to sum up our unit of inquiry.

When we returned back to school, the students had their lunches, participated in gym and completed their spelling test. We cannot wait to see what the children dress up as tomorrow! * Friendly reminder: Please leave weapons at home. If you do not celebrate Halloween, your child may dress up in their casual clothes or in black and orange colours.

Have a fantastic night! See you tomorrow!
-Ms. Bancud and Ms. Genco
