It is with great sadness I write that Friday, October 30th will be my last day at St. Jude's Academy. I will miss everyone so much.
I would like to welcome Ms. B as she will be taking over the class. I feel they are in good hands and Ms. B and I will do our best to make this transition for the students an easy one.
Thank you for all your support in working with your child over the last couple months, I wish everyone the best of luck!
Take a look at our day:
Calendar: Today the calendar routine was led by Vaibhav.
Phonics: Today the students were introduced to the "Gg" sound, action and song. Together we brainstormed a list of "Gg" words. We also created the letter "Gg" with our play dough. The students then created the word game with their play dough.
Art: Please see Ms. Kerr's blog for more information.
Halloween Story: The students listened to a Halloween story. We discussed things we are scared of. It was established that the Senior Kindergarten class does not have ANY fears. We also sang our Halloween songs.
Just before lunch, the students completed their journal entry on a safety tip for trick-or-treating. The students all know how to be safe for the fun fill Saturday they will have this weekend. Lunch/ Recess 1
French: Please see Mlle. Jessica's blog for more information.
Unit of Inquiry: Today we had 9 students present their Senses Summative project. These were all really well done. Tomorrow we will finish up the rest of the presentations and then marks will go home. Thank you for all your help with the projects this weekend.
